We recommend our customers take care of their lovely new flooring with these simple steps.

First things first, you should regularly sweep your floor with a soft brush to remove grit and prevent scratches. And if you’re using a vacuum cleaner always take care not to scratch the floor by accident.

To give it a thorough clean, wipe the floor with a clean cloth or mop, rinsed frequently in clean water. Then clean the floor with a solution of hot water and mild detergent or domestic floor cleaning solution. Finally rinse again thoroughly and soak up any excess water.

Always try to wipe up spot marks and any spillages as soon as they occur.

Cushioned floors that have an additional protective coating, such as Armstrong Rhinoguard or Rhino Grip, don’t require any additional polish. But if you have other cushioned floors, we recommend you polish to protect the floor’s surface from stains and give the surface a shine.
